Life Missions International
Pastor Rick and Debbie Hutchinson have served as full time missionaries in Haiti for 8 years. Their mandate from the Lord is to “wash the island” with the Word of God. The primary focus of their ministry is to raise-up national leaders to preach the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ and shepherd His people.
They host missions teams who do ministry in Haiti to include: water well repair, medical clinics, home and church building construction, orphanage outreach, feeding the poor and currently a “village makeover”.
Since 2001, they have graduated 31 Bible schools in Haiti and the Dominican Republic with over 1,000 students. As of this writing, the Hutchinsons oversee 57 Bible schools with over 1,700 students, 2 local church plants and 2 primary schools.
Following is a list of some of the accomplishments of 2008:
- Living Water National Team (LWIH) repaired 120 broken Wells
- LWI American Teams repaired 66 broken wells
- 7 new Bible schools planted in 2008
- 5 Bible school graduations in 2008 for a total of 584 students graduated
- 2 grade schools operating daily in 2008 with 80 children
- 2 new church plants with 100 members
- Hosted 9 short term missionary teams
- 5 disaster relief missions
- Pastor Joseph Lyvinx (Coty) continues to progress on the Creole translation for the bible school curriculum
- Thousands of meals and clean water for Haitians
- We attended and participated in the Living Water Galas of Houston and Holland , Michigan
*Currently we are rebuilding the church in Savon Gras with a permanent block structure after the hurricanes of 08. And, renovating the mission at Quartier Morin (our base) to include new sleeping quarters for short term missions teams.
