New Life Haiti

Just heard that CNN, Anderson Cooper, was talking about an elderly care center in Haiti that had their lodging facility destroyed. He was saying that they were in need but had had some assistance from Living Water International! YEA MY Hero’s! Thank you Pastor Rick, Gelin, Elbert, Jose, Tcholo, Tdodo and Tfonfon! In the last 6 days they have driven 12 hours and fixed 11 well pumps!

Dear Pastor Linkous, Berin and brothers and sisters,
Pastor Rick is in Port Au Prince fixing well pumps, (Living Water Intl), supervising our New Life Team who are helping Samartians Purse and preaching to everyone. I am still in the north of Haiti and organizing all of the New Life ISOM graduates, students and churches to come together for the work of the ministry (over 1500 students here in the north). We will come up with a plan from GOD and keep you posted on how to minister effectively to the disaster victims. Please pray for our ISOM students in the south there are over 1600 there. We have not heard word of their safety but know that the students in Jacmel are all OK.

Been busy here in the north getting our white truck ready to go to PAP. The team that is going are very excited! Pastor Rick and the LWI national team fixed 2 more well pumps. So that is a total of 4 so far. He said the rebar is everywhere and it cause problems! Just heard that 2000 of Haitian police are dead. They only had 4000 total to start with and those people were just trained! SO SAD.

Hi from Haiti,
We all are very happy to be alive but are sad in our hearts to our Haitian families. We have been praying for the curse to be broken in Haiti and will continue to pray and teach the people The Word of God. Everywhere we go people in the north of Haiti has family who died in the south. The artist had five family memebers die. We still have not been able to talk with Callie (Tleans boyfriend) and have not talked with Saul (our Bible School leader in Kenscoft), or Pastor Meguel (DR Pastor) or Mike Brewer and others. The faces are very sad and everyone seems to be in a daze. We do have 8 American men here repairing wells and they are doing good. We do not see any affects from the earth quake here except that communication has been down. We may have some shortages of fuel and many people may move to the north so we may become somewhat over populated. We sent everything in the house that we could (cloths, bibles, medications, shoes) to Port Au Prince yesterday with the Brits in the ambulance. I even took the shirts off the Americans backs. No not really but they did go through their suitcases and give me cloths. Please continue to pray and I will try to keep in touch. All our love. Debbie and Pastor Rick

This isn’t really an update on the earthquake, it is just a note to let everyone know that Ric heard from Rick and Debbie and they are all right. I am just a friend trying to fill in a little bit as I know they must be very busy and under so much pressure.

I just offer a prayer for all of the people of Haiti that they know that God is there with them all of the way!!

Just a quick Thank You to the LWI Pump repair team from USA and Canada that fixed well pumps in Haiti the beginning of December. These men did a great job.

We were so blessed to have a missions team for three weeks at our missions ground in Haiti building the hospital.
